So, as scheduled, I'm at home for approximately the next 12 hours. Just wanted to report to any superfans out there that Bates hockey defeated Fairfield 13-5 in our first game of the season! Brother will be here in a few hours and we'll drive up to Bates early in the morning. Off to shower, I've been smelling all evening because the Wonderland of Ice put us in a closet without shower facilities.
